Hours after rumors emerged that former Manchester United and Juventus star Christiano Ronaldo was considering coming back to the Premier League, it is now clear that the deal might be materializing.
This is after reports emerged that Juventus and Manchester City have agreed to let the Portuguese forward join the English Champions.
According to football blogger Fabrizio Ramano, the two clubs have agreed on a fee of around £28 million to join Manchester City on a two-year deal.
Fabrizio noted that the deal is expected to be completed tomorrow, Friday. Christiano is also expected to undergo his medical at Manchester City on the same day.
“Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester City, here we go! Paperworks To be signed tomorrow between Juventus and City £28M, the contract also signed until June 2023.
Ronaldo will undergo his medical in Manchester on Friday morning to complete the deal,” Fabrizio wrote on his Twitter page.
In another report, Sky Sports News said: “If you’re a Manchester United supporter, you may want to turn off your TV now.
Some people are telling us that it’s a done deal – two people “I’ve spoken to in the last hour have said he’s (Cristiano) going to Manchester City.”
