Churchill Show comedian Akuku Danger’s situation is only getting worse, after suffering collapsed lungs he is now experiencing memory loss.
Boaz Hosea, a close friend of the stand-up comedian, had earlier on revealed that Akuku Danger had first been admitted at Nairobi Women’s Hospital-Rongai last week and discharged before being rushed back after a few days.
Hosea said Akuku suffered collapsed lungs and had been admitted in Intensive care units (ICU) as his condition was very critical and needed round the clock monitoring.
“He (Akuku Danger) was put on medication and now he has been readmitted. One of his lungs has already collapsed and is currently in the I.C.U.
“He is to be transferred to Nairobi West Hospital as soon as possible, but they have asked for a deposit of Sh200,000. We are appealing to friends to help us raise the amount,” Boaz Hosea said in a post on Instagram on Wednesday December 29th.
Comedian Kazungu Matano, popularly known as Captain Otoyo, visited Akuku in hospital and confirmed that his situation had only gotten worse.
Captain Otoyo said Akuku is now experience memory loss as he couldn’t recognize him or his own father.
“I paid My Friend, My colleague @itsakukudanger a visit at his ICU Bed today.I could not help but to shed tears. Akuku could not recognize neither me nor his Father..
“He has exhausted His Jubilee Insurance Medical cover because of Hospital visits and Admissions. We must now fundraise cash to foot Akuku’s Medical Bill’s people. Let’s help Akuku My People. AND pray for his recovery? Every Shilling will count,” wrote Captain Otoyo.
