It will be a bittersweet Valentine’s Day for Ciru Muriuki as she spends time with the remains of her lover Charles Ouda ahead of his cremation.
According to the funeral programme, a fundraiser is scheduled for Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 5:30 pm, to be held in the Higher Trinity room at All Saints Cathedral.
On Wednesday, February 14, 2024, the cortege bearing the remains of the actor will depart from Chiromo Funeral Home for an overnight vigil at the family home in Nairobi.
A church service will be held at All Saints Cathedral on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 10:00 am, followed by the last rites at Kariokor for immediate family members.
While the funeral arrangements provide a certain degree of closure for those mourning Charles Ouda’s untimely demise, there remains a veil of mystery surrounding the cause of his death.
A week after the news broke, the circumstances leading to the actor’s passing are still unclear, leaving fans and the entertainment community in a state of speculation and curiosity.
The family has not publicly revealed that the actor took his own life.
