Carrol Sonnie: Given Another Chance I Will Not Have A Baby With Mulamwah 

Carrol Sonnie regrets rushing into having a baby with comedian Mulamwah. The single mother expressed her woes raising her daughter on her own.

Sonnie spoke up on the challenges of raising a daughter as a single parent during the launch of her initiative called Carrol Muthoni Hands of Compassion.

The mother of one visited Kiambio slums in Buru Buru on Sunday May 15th to inspire single mothers through her initiative.

Speaking to Sauti TV during launch of her initiative, Carrol Sonnie revealed that since breaking up with Mulamwah she has been raising their daughter Keilah Oyando as a single parent.

She admitted that it has not been easy to be the father and the mother at the same time to her daughter.

“It’s not been easy but again it’s God helping us through all these things,” she said.

Asked if she had given up on love now that she has started an initiative for single mothers like her, Sonnie said;

“Have not given up on love, love is such a beautiful thing. It feels good to be loved.”

The mother of one however said that if she was given another chance she would have done things a little bit different.

She noted that she could not have rushed into having a baby but rather focus on empowering herself financially and career-wise before embarking on the parenting journey.

“If I was to go back I would have planned everything vizuri. Ningepanga tu maisha yangu vizuri. First of all I don’t regret being a mom at this age but given a chance ningekaa vizuri nipange maisha yangu fiti nimake sure that before nikue mothee kuna venye kuna vitu nime achieve, nikue financially stable, nikue nko na job nafanya vitu zangu ziko sawa like am ok ndo niwezi kuintrodue like someone else in my life,” said Carrol Sonnie.
