Amber Ray insists she is not an irresponsible mother even though she drinks alcohol like no one’s business.
The mother of two explained why she is drinking alcohol even though she has a two-month-old baby.
Speaking during the launch of an alcohol brand that she attended as the main ambassador, Amber Ray said she drinks booze because she stopped breastfeeding.
She revealed that she stopped breastfeeding her two-month-old baby because she did not have enough milk.
Amber Ray said she wanted to breastfeed her baby till it turns six months but there was no milk and the doctor gave her the go ahead to stop.
She stressed that it was ok for her to drink alcohol because she is currently not breastfeeding thus it doesn’t affect her child.
“I know hufai kunywa pombe until mtoto amefikisha six months kwa wale wananyonyesha. But as for me, I tried to breastfeed, my baby is now two months old. I tried everything but maziwa ilikataa kabisa. I was looking forward to doing it but ilikataa and the doctor told me to stop. So if am not breastfeeding I can drink,” Amber said.
Addressing claims she stopped breastfeeding to maintain her body, Amber Ray said that her figure is natural and she cannot intentionally deny her baby the right to nurse to maintain it.
