DJ Mo unceremoniously left NTV in 2020 after a cheating scandal, Ringtone has now come out to spill some more beans on Size 8’s husband.
Mo literally disappeared from NTV where he used to host gospel show dubbed Crossover 101 after a young lady working in Bahrain decided to expose him for cheating on wife Size 8, a scandal that left many talking.
His absence from the screen led many to ask his former co-host Grace Ekirapa who admitted that DJ Mo wasn’t returning his calls.
“I haven’t spoken to him to be honest. It’s been hard for me to get to him. My phone calls haven’t been going through, I know its been difficult for him and I think when he is ready he will talk to me,” Grace Ekirapa explained.
Fast forward to February 2022, DJ Mo clashed with Ringtone when his wife Size 8 was launching her album at Panari Hotel.
DJ Mo had Ringtone thrown out of the facility for slamming Size 8 who chased him from the pulpit while dedicating her album to God together with other pastors.
On Saturday February 19th, Ringtone got the opportunity to hit back at DJ Mo by exposing him.
Ringtone claims DJ Mo singlehandedly killed the gospel industry in Kenya as he demanded to sleep with upcoming artists in exchange for airplay.
While referring DJ Mo as DJ Mio (to avoid litigation), Ringtone narrated how Size 8’s husband was ruthless in smashing upcoming musicians who approached him to play their songs on his show on NTV.
“Kuna DJ mmoja alikua anafanya pale NTV alikua anaitwa DJ Mio. DJ Mio alikua anafanya kipindi cha gospel na DJ Mio pekee yake aliweza kuua gospel music Kenya. DJ Mio alikula kondoo wa Mungu, waulize wasanii wote wa kike Kenya (There is a DJ who worked at NTV he was called DJ Mio. DJ Mio hosted a gospel show and he alone killed gospel music in Kenya. DJ Mio slept with God’s sheep. Ask any female artist in Kenya,” Ringtone said in part.

“Hao wasanii wote wa kike walikua wakitoa video na muziki wakipeleka kwake anawaambia wamshukishie nguo. Na wale ole wao waliomnyima DJ Mio aliwanyima airplay. Uliza wasanii wote wa kike upcoming especially wengi walikufa moyo, wengi waliachana na mungu na wengi waliacha muziki wa Mungu. Uliza wasanii wa Tanzania wakike watakueleza vile ambavyo aliitisha kwa fujo. (All female artists when they released new songs and took to him to play he told them to undress. Those who turned him down they were denied airplay. Ask all upcoming artistes, many were discouraged, many quit the gospel industry. Ask female Tanzanian artists they will tell you how he forcefully asked for s3x).
Ringtone promised to mention names of some of the affected female artists affected at a later date.
