“My daughter Vesha noticed he was delusional! Dakika mbili ako sawa, dakika mbili analipuka!” Akothee says.
In a recent interview expose, Akothee has shared the devastating story of how bipolar disorder played a pivotal role in the tragic suicide of Mr. Omosh’s ex-girlfriend in 2019, shedding light on the impact this condition can have on individuals and their loved ones.
Bipolar disorder, a mental health condition characterized by extreme mood swings. Also known as manic-depressive illness, is marked by intense fluctuations in mood, energy, and activity levels. Individuals with bipolar disorder navigate through episodes of mania, characterized by heightened energy, increased impulsivity, and an elevated mood. These manic phases are often succeeded by periods of depression, during which individuals may experience overwhelming sadness, lethargy, and a loss of interest in once-enjoyed activities.
In her recent outspoken commentary, Akothee did not mince words when she referred to her ex-husband, Denis ‘Omosh’ Schweizer, as “bipolar.”
The mother of five went on to dismiss her marriage to the Swiss as nothing more than a “joke,” emphasizing that her family had warned her about red flags that she chose to overlook.
Akothee admitted to having a misguided perception of Schweizer, stating that her pursuit of “greener pastures” through marriage to him ended in a disastrous failure although she enjoyed their honeymoon in Greece which Omosh paid for.
“The white man almost killed me; I will come and explain to you one day,” Akothee revealed after their highly publicized breakup months ago.
