Mulamwah was dumped by his baby mama Carrol Sonnie because he is just TOO STINGY, he has millions but couldn’t spare a few coins to treat her.
David Oyando alias Mulamwah and his baby mama Carol Muthoni aka Carrol Sonnie didn’t break up in December 2021 like they had announced, they split way earlier but only kept public appearance together.
The two were blessed with a baby Keilah Oyando in September last year, by that time they had already broken up.
Mulamwah opened on breaking with Sonnie during an interview with Mseto East Africa revealing details of their breakup that had not been made public before.
The comedian revealed he broke up with his baby when she was just three months pregnant but chose to wait until the birth of their child to make the breakup public.
“Society has judged me wrongly. We separated even before the baby was born. We had decided early. When she was three months pregnant. I am a nurse and I know the importance of taking care of a pregnant woman. That is why we brought the news later,” said Mulamwah.
Mulamwah further implied that his baby mama cheated on him when he was ‘broke’. He claims that his ex was not understanding of his financial situation and would seek material staff from other people whenever he found it difficult to give her the best clothes or other needs.
“She should give men time. Don’t rush from one relationship to the other. There was a time I could not provide this and that or buy her the best clothes and she would go look for it somewhere else from other people and it used to hurt me so much,” said Mulamwah.
The two had previously stayed tight lipped about the reason for their break with Mulamwah saying that it might have a negative impact on Sonnie’s career.
Fast forward to February 21st 2022, Mulamwah while speaking during an interview with Dr. Ofweneke came clean on why he broke up with Carrol Sonnie.
The comedian proudly boasted how his stinginess drove Sonnie away. He revealed that he is staying in a Ksh9,000 house even though he is a millionaire.
“Living in a Ksh9,000 house does not mean I don’t have money. I have over a million, but it does not make sense when you tell me to drink Ksh4,000. I come from a place where money is valued. You cannot convince me to thousands on a night out, yet Ksh1,000 can push my grandma two weeks,” said Mulamwah.
Mulamwah added that Sonnie opted to get the things he refused to buy her from another man and he ultimately decided to call it quits.
“We tried working on our relationship but things did not go accordingly. But I take care of my daughter and she will not lack anything,” said Mulamwah.
Mulamwah said that he decided to move on with his new lover whom he introduced on Valentine’s Day.
