Blogger Edgar Obare has clashed with Matatu Operators Association chairman Jamal Marlow and his associates after exposing their deals.
The controversial blogger revealed that Jamal was transferring ownership of his assets to one of his associates named Alpha.
The blogger revealed that Alpha is involved in illegal business together with Jamal, and that the latter was erasing any leads that could trace back to him.
He suspected that Jamal was evading paying taxes and as such he transferred some of his assets to Alpha in a bid to fool taxman Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
Obare’s informants told him that Matatu Operators Association chairman had even transferred the ownership of his Range Rover to Alpha.
Alpha sent Obare a warning through his pages. Marlow’s associate warned the blogger to be careful with what he shares on his pages.
He further defended his business dealings with Jamal saying everything they do is legal.
Jamal’s business associate also gave Obare a five-day ultimatum to delete his posts or he will use his influence to hack his accounts.
Obare lost two Instagram accounts before, which prompted him to open a Telegram account which doesn’t have strict community guidelines and it’s a bit safer.
