Chris Kirubi’s Deviant Daughter Fiona Inherits Only Ksh4 Million Of The Late Tycoon’s Ksh20 Billion Estate

Chris Kirubi was such a savage man, he left his daughter Fiona – the black sheep of the family – only Ksh4 million inheritance while his other children got billions.

Many people knew Chris Kirubi had only two children, Fiona Farha Kirubi only introduced herself to Kenyans during the burial of his father on June 19th 2021.

While giving her eulogy, Fiona acknowledged that most people were not as familiar with her unlike her siblings, Robert Kirubi and Mary-Anne Musangi Kirubi, who were well-known.

She sobbed on the podium before reading the eulogy, and her siblings stood by her and supported her throughout her speech, demonstrating their love for her.

Fiona spoke about how she initially denied being Chris Kirubi’s daughter. She admitted to having a strained relationship with her late father.

Kirubi’s deviant daughter however told mourners that she eventually came to terms with her heritage.

Even though she reconciled with her late father before his death last year, the late Kirubi didn’t change his will to allocate Fiona a fair share of his vast estate.

Fiona was mentioned in Kirubi’s 1996 will where Robert Kirubi and daughter Mary-Anne Kirubi were bequeathed 80% of the estate, Fiona only got Ksh4 million of Kirubi’s Ksh20 billion estate.

However, Robert and Mary-Anne amicably agreed to give Fiona 9.95% of the estate which they split equally from their shares.

“We shall be grateful if you would record the following consent in the above matter. That an order be recorded that Fiona Wambui Kirubi shall receive 9.95 percent of the share of Robert Kirubi’s and Mary-Anne’s Kirubi’s portion of the estate being 80 percent of the entire estate,” the consent reads in part.

That means that Fiona will receive about Ksh1.6 billion from her siblings.

Fiona was not bad off financially. She is the head of Fintech and Leadership Development for Africa at Gateway Global – a professional ground transportation firm that provides a broad range of services.

She is responsible for the Conversion Factory, Digital Strategy & Fintech, Gender Equity, Inclusivity, Real Estate, and Social Responsibility at Gateway.

Prior to joining Gateway, Dubai based Fiona worked as an independent investment advisor at Globaleye, where she was responsible for portfolio development, asset allocation, investment management, and corporate pension and insurance solutions.

She is also a businesswoman. Kirubi’s lastborn is on various global advisory boards and is the chairman of Muslim Women Tech, an NGO focused on building tech skills for women situated in Malaysia and Kenya.
