Obinna Removes Controversial ‘360’ Segment From His Show After Complaints From Women

YouTuber and comedian Oga Obinna has decided to cut the ‘360’ segment from his show, Obinna Show Live, following complaints from viewers and recent criticism by actress Bushra.

The segment, which involved fans urging female guests to showcase their bodies by turning around on camera, drew backlash for objectifying women.

The turning point came when actress Bushra, a guest on the show, voiced her frustration after fans requested that she perform the ‘360.’

She questioned the relevance of the segment, urging viewers to focus on the substance of what guests share rather than superficial aspects.

“Kama vile nimefika, 360 imeingiana wapi na content? They are portraying something to mean women are supposed to have something na kama huna, you hear like, hatuku-watch,” Bushra remarked.

Following Bushra’s comments, Obinna announced the segment’s removal, sharing that he had long considered banning it but hesitated due to its popularity among fans.

“I have been trying to get rid of the 360 part but ikifika any guest, they insist on the 360. From today there will be no 360 on this platform. Let’s focus on what brought the guest here,” he stated.

Obinna highlighted the importance of respecting guests, giving the example of Martha Karua, an influential leader, noting how inappropriate it would be to subject such respected figures to the segment.

“Just imagine Martha Karua amefika hapa, the Iron Lady, halafu we are like, we always start with 360. Let’s abolish that. Ukitaka 360, chukua picha zake za Instagram na TikTok then join them ama za 720,” Obinna added humorously.

By removing the controversial ‘360’ segment, Oga Obinna’s decision reflects a positive shift in response to viewer feedback, prioritizing respect for his guests over fan demands.

The move has been widely praised as a step toward fostering a more inclusive and respectful environment, especially for female guests on his platform.

It’s a reminder of the importance of creating content that balances entertainment with dignity, a change Obinna hopes will resonate with his audience and inspire others in the entertainment industry.
