Morara Kebaso has urged Members of Parliament to file an impeachment motion against President William Ruto.
This is after the successful impeachment of his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua.
Morara noted that a brave MP should move the motion to parliament and not worry about votes.
“While am on holiday am looking for someone. We need just one brave MP to file an impeachment against president William Ruto. Just one. Don’t worry about the votes, leave the MPs to us we will deal with them. Mmoja tu awekelee hiyo kitu. Kazi ingine atuachie,” he said.
Earlier, Morara announced that he was taking a break to re-strategise on his movement. He noted that most of his supporters never show up physically when he is in trouble.
“I am taking a small break to restrategize. I have a problem that needs a solution. Most of my supporters cheer me online but when i am in trouble they never show up. I need a new strategy on how to mobilize my loyal supporters to have my back whenever i am under attack. The attacks have intensified and the police have become smart, they do it on days when there is something big happening so that it goes unnoticed,” he said.
“That’s why i need a break. I am genuinely fighting for Kenya but i need Kenya to fight for me. Therefore i need to find a way to convince Kenya to fight for me. Ni hayo tu kwa sasa.”
At the same time, he shared a message for upcoming young leaders who are trying to fight corrupt systems. Morara told them to be consistent and avoid focusing on things that are beyond their control.
“Don’t let anyone dampen your spirit. Remain true to your values. Don’t accept big donations with conditions that compromise your principles. Don’t be anyone’s project. You are sufficient as you are. Keep your expectations low to avoid disappointment. Don’t always complain, develop solutions.”
“Be careful of who you talk to and what you say to them. The business of leadership is a nasty one. You will be misunderstood and taken out of context on many occasions. The media will always cut clips to paint you in certain light, IGNORE,” he said.
