“Thank You Baba Mueni” Yvette Obura Rejoices Over What Bahati Did For Their Daughter

It was a joyous occasion for Mueni Bahati as both her parents, singer Kelvin Bahati and businesswoman Yvette Obura, came together to show their support during a talent show at her school.

The event showcased the young talents of students, and Mueni was ready to shine.

Over the past weekend, Bahati took to social media to share a heartwarming picture of himself, his daughter Mueni, and his son Majesty standing together in the schoolyard.

“It’s my daughter Mueni Bahati’s talent day at school so Majesty Bahati and I went to watch her play,” he captioned the photo. The trio looked happy, enjoying their time together.

Yvette Obura, who co-parents with Bahati, shared videos capturing their daughter’s spirited performance in front of a gathering of parents, students, and guests.

In one clip, the eight-year-old was seen energetically singing her father’s hit song, ‘Lala Amka’, alongside her peers, eliciting cheers and applause from the crowd.

As she continued to perform, she made her way to where Bahati was seated, taking his hand and inviting him to join her on stage.

“Clap your hands then… let’s stop then,” Bahati playfully remarked after receiving the microphone from Mueni. Yvette couldn’t conceal her delight as she cheered on her daughter, clearly moved by the moment.

The businesswoman also posted another video showing Bahati delivering a speech to the attendees, where he praised Yvette for her presence and support.

“Thank you, Baba Mueni, for being a present and intentional father,” she expressed in her post, highlighting the strong co-parenting dynamic they maintain.

In the video, Bahati expressed his pride in Mueni’s performance, sharing heartfelt words of encouragement for other parents.

“I felt like, I can’t believe seeing my daughter doing what she loves when she’s still young. I know you parents have that platform; when the children read a little, you let them do what they love. God bless you all, I’m glad to hear,” he advised.

Mueni is the first child of Bahati and Yvette, born about eight years ago before the couple decided to part ways.

Their united support for her talent day reinforces their commitment to co-parenting and nurturing their daughter’s passions.
