Rev. Lucy Natasha, the youthful and outspoken preacher, has become a prominent figure known for her vibrant personality and unapologetic flashiness.
The preacher recently opened up about her life like never before during a recent interview with a local publisher.
Rev. Natasha shared her stance on money, faith and marriage.
“My view on money is that it takes the character of a person. In the hands of a good person, it will be used for a good course. Money is not evil; it is the love of money,” she asserts.
Despite leading a successful ministry, she proudly reveals, “I have never taken a salary from the ministry because I feel we are in God’s work together.”
An accomplished author of 12 books, Rev Natasha has diversified her income streams through various business ventures.
She encourages everyone to do the same, drawing inspiration from the Garden of Eden.
“If you look at the Garden of Eden, it has four rivers, so everyone should strive to have at least four income streams,” she advises.
Speaking on her marriage, Natasha revealed that she met her Indian husband Prophet Carmel on Instagram.
“My husband slid into my DM [direct message],” she recalls with a smile.
Despite ghosting his messages for two years, his persistence paid off. ”
He is Indian and had not been to Kenya up to that time. He used to hit on me with Godly rhymes. But you know, persistence outweighs resistance.”
Rev. Natasha fell for Carmel because he allows her to be herself.
“He brings out the baby girl in me, he allows me to be. He taps into Tasha. He never called me Rev, Oracle, Pastor, or prophetess,” she shares.
Two years into their marriage, the couple does not yet have children but holds hope and prayer for this blessing.
“We have the desire and the prayer; I think that would be one of the greatest blessings from God. Tutasubiri Mungu,” she expresses with faith.
Rev Natasha also shared her thoughts on relationships, particularly the type of woman a man should avoid.
“The type of woman any man shouldn’t marry is the gold digger. In this generation, many women aren’t looking for love but help. They don’t come for your heart but your hunt,” she warns. Instead, she urges women to be “gold carriers.”
“The difference between a gold-digger and a gold carrier does not only draw eyebrows but eyebrows and business plans. A gold-digger wants to know what car you drive; a gold carrier wants to know what drives you. A gold digger wants to know where you live; a gold carrier wants to know what lives in you,” she explains.
