Vera Sidika warned Brown Mauzo she didn’t want to see him anywhere near her.
In an interview with bloggers at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on October 15, 2023, Vera said that she had no intention of getting back together with Mauzo and stressed that she did not even want to see him.
“I don’t want to see Brown Mauzo anywhere near me. As far as I know, we are divorced, but it will take some time before the divorce is over,” Vera Sidika said.
Fast forward to October 31, 2023, Vera Sidika bitterly complained after she invited Brown Mauzo to their daughter’s birthday party and he failed to show up.
Kenyareports.com saw texts Vera Sidika wrote ranting about Brown Mauzo’s decision to skip their daughter’s birthday.
In a series of Insta stories, Sidika claimed that she had extended an invitation to Mauzo for their daughter’s birthday celebration, hoping to make it a memorable day for Asia.
“I invited him to his daughter’s birthday just so it can be memorable for her special day. I stay huko, they have their moment. He did not want to show up & said it wouldn’t be a good idea to be at her birthday party. How is any of that my fault???? Am I to carry him with a crane (to) force him to attend his daughter’s bday? Hell no,” Vera Sidika lamented.
Sidika further elaborated on her efforts to involve Mauzo in the celebration, indicating her disappointment at his decision not to participate in their daughter’s birthday.
She highlighted her commitment to ensuring Asia’s happiness and the significance of such an occasion.
“I need you all to understand as much as face reveal party plans that I had paid for were ruined days before Asia’s Birthday. I was still the biggest person even to invite him to Asia’s birthday. All I care about is my life’s happiness. I’m not a selfish mother. But you can’t force a pawn to reason. A birthday is not an ordinary day, it’s a special day to celebrate your child. I would never miss it for the world. I rushed back from America just so I couldn’t miss my daughter’s day not everyone sees the importance,” Vera said.
Brown Mauzo on August 30, 2023, announced the end of his marriage to Vera Sidika.
“I wanted to take a moment to share some personal news. After much consideration, Vera Sidika and I have decided to part ways. Our journey together has been filled with unforgettable moments, but we have reached a point where it’s best for both of us and our babies, Asia Brown and Ice Brown, to move forward separately,” he shared.
