In an interview with Nicholas Kioko, Yvonne said that she was tired of pushing KRG to accept her and will never look for him again.
The teenager added that she now knows him and that was her main aim from the beginning.
“Umesema huna mtoto, ni sawa mi nimeitikia you will never hear from me ati nasema am looking for you. Penye nimetoka ni mbali na penye Mungu ananipeleka ni mbali I was good without you and I will be good without you, niko sawa tu.
“Nimekutafuta ukasema vile umesema, sahizi hutaskia nikiwahikutafuta nikisema ati nataka kujua babangu. Lea kina Neville, Naim na Khalid. Hakuna mwenye anajua kesho, maybe am the one who will help you tomorrow,” the 19-year old said.
Yvonne also said that she decided to look for Kioko one last time to conclude the matter and clear the air on speculations surrounding the paternity case.
“Since this thing concerns me so much and everyone has their life, out here, people no longer view me as they used to. They are saying that this thing was scripted that we want to ruin his life, no, as a Kikuyu its good to know your lineage and blood line and that was my aim, to know my father, our people, where I have come from and continue with my education and life,” she said.
She faulted people who were insulting Kioko and claiming that he scripted the story. Yvonne said that the YouTuber was just doing his job. She added that it was her mother who looked for Kioko. The YouTuber had however reached out to her in March 2022 when the story first surfaced online.
At the same time, Yvonne noted that KRG was contradicting himself in interviews and urged him to speak the truth.
“In 2002 you say you were in primary at the same time you had a garage, just speak the truth. Everyone has a past and the best way to make peace with your past is to rectify your mistakes. I have no problem with you,” she said.
According to her, KRG does not want to embrace her because he is afraid of how his friends will view him. She however said that she would accept him as her father in whatever state he would be in.
Yvonne further said KRG is bound to regret rejecting her.
“Money wouldn’t bury you. Even if my would have been a drunkard I would be happy, I will accept you, even if you were in my life the way you used to be I would be very happy. But when you think of how your friends will view because you have a big child, you will come to regret and there is no way they will help you. You will come to look for me after am done with you, and that is done. I hold nothing against you,” she insisted.
Yvonne noted that instead of KRG rejecting her, he should appreciate since she was brought to him when she is all-grown up. According to her, it was not easy for her mother to raise her single handedly.
She is however grateful to her mother for showing her who her dad is.
“Mum, you have tried your best, I am the one who has pushed you to this point of showing who my father is. You have tried all you could and I am grateful. We will be okay, whether he is present or not. God uses lots of ways to make your tomorrow better,” Yvonne said.
