Exposed: What Was Used To Kill Edwin Chiloba As Per Post-mortem Results

Pathologist Johansen Oduor has revealed how Edwin Chiloba was killed.

He said that LGBTQ activist Edwin Chiloba died as a consequence of asphyxiation, a process where a person is starved of air and either becomes unconscious or dies.

Speaking to the media at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH), Mr Oduor revealed that the LGBTQ activist and model was suffocated, because he had coverings on his nostrils and mouth.

“He had a piece of trouser tied around the nose and mouth. He had socks stuffed in his mouth. He had Cyanosis, when you look at his fingernails, they were bluish in colour which shows that he lacked oxygen when he died,”

“From our findings, the late Edwin died out of asphyxia which is caused by smothering,” Oduor said.

Oduor explained that he could not locate any additional injuries. Additional samples have been taken to see whether he had perhaps been drugged prior to his passing on.

He additionally noted that contrary to earlier widespread reports, Chiloba’s eyes were not gouged out.

The family of slain LGBTQ rights advocate and fashion designer Edwin Kiprotich Kiptoo, also known as Edwin Chiloba, is calling for justice and the exposure of those responsible for justice.

On January 4, Chiloba’s body was located placed into a metal box near Kipkenyo, Eldoret, where witnesses spotted unidentified assailants dump off the metal box by the roadway before swerving away in their car.

The family’s representative, Caudencia Tanui, expressed hope that the offenders would be prosecuted now that the police have launched a thorough investigation.

“We thank God that so far the government is following up on the matter. We have left him at the mortuary with so much pain but indeed we are seeing the government is willing to help us. I am sure there is light and Edwin will get justice,” she said.

Tanui claimed further that their son had a Christian background and had even been addressed as “pastor” at one point during his high school years.

They were not aware of “these other things being spoken about him online” about their loved one, she said. They are totally denying he was queer and an LGBTQ member.

According to family, Edwin Chiloba will be buried on January 14, 2023, in Sergoit, Elgeyo Marakwet County.
