President Yoweri Museveni son’s Muhoozi Kainerugaba is angry at KTN’s Sophia Wanuna because of the questions she asked her father.
Sophia Wanuna while speaking during an interview with Museveni asked him about his son following his controversial tweets.
The KTN journalist asked the Ugandan President if he would rein in his son and control his tweets.
She further asked Museveni if he would have treated any other general the same way if they had acted the same way as his son.
“If it was the other generals would they have received the same treatment?” Sophia asked Museveni.
The 78-year-old leader explained that Muhoozi was a good military leader that’s why he couldn’t fire him in spite of his behaviour on social media.
“That general you are talking about Muhoozi is a very good officer in army things. Army has got all sorts of problems, there is corruption. Many of the armies are killed by corruption. Stealing resources of the army, poor training and so on. So if somebody is good in something but makes a mistake in something else how do you handle it? From our long experience, not only for Muhoozi, for many many of them we try…. because we might not get people 100 per cent correct. So if he has gotten 10 per cent mistake, 20 per cent mistake but 80 per cent contribution…. this is how you manage it,” Museveni said.
Muhoozi came out to blast Sophia Wanuna because of the questions she asked her father.
“I hear some journalist from Kenya asked my father to ban me from Twitter? Is that some kind of joke?? I am an adult and NO ONE will ban me from anything!” Muhoozi tweeted.
