Fearless Lillian Nganga has taken a swipe at Kenya’s film industry in a move that is likely to put her at loggerheads with stakeholders.
The former Machakos First Lady took to social media to express her frank assessment of the country’s film industry.
Lillian said Kenya’s film industry is in a sorry state, she urged thespians to pull up their socks if they want to attract audience to watch their films.
Juliani’s wife praised South Africa’s film industry praising the TV series from the country which have kept her glued to her screen.
Lillian said South African film producers are creative as they have twisted scripts which draw viewers’ attention, a thing which she noted lacks in Kenya.
“South Africa series’ have the most gripping and twisted scripts that has one glued to the screen for days on end. No comparison with Kenyan series’. There’s need to up the game. I say. Actors too. SA actors are smooth. Kenyans… too much acting. Now watching #gomora #gomoramzansi,” wrote Lillian Nganga.
