Many netizens continue to express envy over the remarkable achievement of Akothee, a single mother of five, who successfully married a Swiss man, Mr Denis “Omosh” Schweizer and had him accompany her down the wedding aisle in a beautiful royal like wedding.
The nuptials were attended by the who and who in Kenya, including politicians, business persons and entertainers.
In 2002, when many of us were still playing childhood games, Akothee tied the knot with her childhood sweetheart, Jared Okeyo, at Awendo SDA Church.
He’s the first man who made her a mother and they have three kids together;Vesha, Rue Baby, and Fancy Makadia.
Papa Oyoo, also known as Dominic Decherf, not only fulfills the role of a caring father but also embraces the responsibility of caring for Akothee’s daughters.
Akothee has consistently praised him in the past, referring to him as her favorite baby daddy.
The couple’s paths crossed in Mombasa back when Akothee, already a mother of three, worked as a taxi driver.
When Mejja was just upcoming with his song “Niko Poa” and Marlaw was honking in traffic “Pii Pii” Akothee fell in love with her partner, who later turned out to be the father of her son Ojwang.
However, he unfortunately evicted her from their home while she was several months pregnant.
Several years ago, there were rumors linking Brown Mauzo, Vera Sidika’s chosen partner and father to her kids, to a romantic involvement with Akothee.
Addressing their professional association, the singer stated that he had collaborated with the renowned benga artist, who is a mother of five, for an extended period as artists.
Brown Mauzo also revealed that she was the first person he ever wrote music lyrics for.
After weeks of speculation by internet users, singer Akothee officially confirmed her separation from her former manager, Nelly Oaks.
Observant fans noticed that the couple ceased sharing posts featuring each other on their social media platforms and even went as far as unfriending one another.
“I have previously ended various relationships that had their share of ups and downs, so this recent one shouldn’t come as a shock or surprise. It’s simply a personal decision. I need time to focus on my newfound happiness with fewer distractions. I want to dedicate myself to personal growth and my career. I am not prepared for any commitments or discussions regarding what happened. I simply didn’t wish to cause harm to anyone. I apologize, but that’s the way it is,” wrote Akothee.
Akothee entered into a relationship with her current husband, Omosh, in 2022. The couple initially crossed paths during a trip to France.
Unfortunately, in December 2022, Akothee experienced a miscarriage due to complications during her pregnancy with Omosh’s baby.
However, on April 10th, 2023, Akothee joyfully married her beloved Omosh in a vibrant wedding ceremony held at Nairobi’s Windsor Golf Hotel.
