Tanzanian songstress Zuchu openly admitted to being in a romantic relationship with her boss and renowned musician, Diamond Platnumz, in November 2022. This revelation came to light during an unexpected moment on TikTok, where the AFRIMMA award winner confirmed Diamond as her boyfriend when a friend inquired about their relationship.
The exchange that sent fans into a frenzy unfolded when a curious friend asked Zuchu, “Who’s this?” Without hesitation, Zuchu responded with a smile, saying, “Yeah, that’s my boyfriend. I am in love.”
This admission left fans both surprised and intrigued, as it contradicted the repeated assertions from both Zuchu and Diamond that they were strictly professional colleagues.
Throughout their time working together, Zuchu and Diamond have continuously denied any romantic involvement, emphasizing their commitment to their careers. However, moments of jealousy and heated emotions have occasionally appear in their partnership.
