Zuchu Addresses Viral Incident Where Fans Threw Objects At Her While On Stage

Zuchu has addressed the incident when  her performance in Mbeya was disrupted by fans who began throwing objects at her.

The incident occurred in September 29 during Wasafi Festival, forcing her to cut short her performance and confront the notorious fans.

“Why are you throwing things on the stage,” an agitated Zuchu posed severally before dropping her microphone and taking her leave.

In an interview with Wasafi, Zuchu said that such experiences are not good but it is one of the challenges  that artists face as they go about their duties.

She added that such behaviours however can’t make her hate performing and that she would still go back to Mbeya.

“To be honest vile vitu sio vitu vizuri kwa performer yeyote Mbeya kila mtu alifanyiwa fujo. I got provoked na yakatokea yale kwa sababu ya ubinadamu. Ndio changamoto za kazi. I have  a very good support system. I come from a family of musicians. My mother has encountered such, our boss Diamond too, very many times. Those around me,  the likes of Mbosso are musician  and they encounter that so I was like it is okay, and I was able to regain my mood,” she said.

“Few people can’t make me hate performing or going to Mbeya or any other region,” Zuchu added.

The Mbeya incident isn’t the only bad performance that Zuchu has had during Wasafi Festivals. In 2023, while performing at Songea, she was hit by a bottle.
