Renown gossip master Ankali Ray decided to reach out to YY and his ex-wife Marya to verify news about their separation.
Marya is the one who went public about their breakup saying it was due to unavoidabĺe circumstances while YY remained lipt-tight.
She urged fans and friends to grant them privacy during the tough period, while extending gratitude for the love and support.
In his notorius calls, Ankali first contacted Marya, who was not willing to give any comment on the subject.
“Ankali siwezikukujibu chochote. So kata tu simu,” she said.
She however hang up when Ankali questioned whether it was true they had broken up or of they were only after chasing clout.
YY on the other hand gave the radio presenter some quality time but warned that he was just wasting time as there will be no comment from him about his relationship with Marya.
He went on to laugh at Ankali’s determined effort to get answers from him, advising him call him on the side as friend so that they can joke and laugh.
“Umekuwa ukipigia sana nilikuwa nje ya nchi,” he said.
As usual, the radio presenter was not ready to give up.
“Mko pamoja YY ama mumeachana,” he probed.
” Hata wewe unajua vizuri kama kuna answer hutapata ni hio,” YY responded. “Lakini uko na airtime nyingi, uongea na hio airtime.”
“Nikitoka airport nakuja studio zenu hapo Mediamax. Niwazabe makofi ju mnatusumbua,” the comedian further said amid laughter.
Ankali however advised YY not to break up with Marya because they looked cute together, leaving him in stiches.
” Let me tell you Ankali. We are the ones who wrote that book. It won’t work,” YY said when Ankali asked him to say hae to Marya once he artives where she is.
