Brendah Jons was raped by her two uncles, a pastor and her lover, ordeals which contributed to her being a lesbian.
The Instagram comedienne and YouTuber opened up about her encounter during a YouTube interview on the vernacular channel

Brendah Jons narrated how her uncle took advantage of her and raped her and when she informed her grandmother and other relatives no one believed her. Instead, they beat her up warning her not to ever say that.
The comedienne was born and raised in Nyeri by both parents who later separated when she was 6.
She moved in with her grandmother after her parents separated. It was while staying with her granny that she was first defiled.
Brendah’s granny used to send her to her uncle’s place to deliver milk and he would escort her back when it was dark.
The uncle one day turned against her and raped her in the maize plantation. The following day when her grandmother sent her she refused to go. She told her granny what the uncle did to her and she didn’t believe her.
Her grandmother went ahead and beat her up for ‘tarnishing’ the uncle’s name. She forced her to take the milk when it was already late.
The uncle while escorting her back raped her again and warned her no one would ever believe what she says.
Unfortunately Brendah Jons was once again raped at the age of 12 by another uncle who stuffed socks in her mouth and defiled her.
The rapist uncle was a praise and worship leader in church, no one would believe Brendah Jons if she reported him.
At the age of 18, Brenda Jons was once again raped by a pastor who gave her Ksh200 to make sure she didn’t get pregnant.
The comedienne was also raped by her lover. The rape ordeals made Brendah Jons developed intense hatred for men that she opted to be a lesbian.
