DJ Mo and Size 8 got married in a secretive and private ceremony at the Attorney General’s office on September 23rd 2013.
Size 8 got saved in 2012, ditched her prosperous secular music career and went on to marry DJ Mo.
Before marrying Mo, Size 8 had two wealthy suitors who wanted to settle down in marriage with her.
“When I met DJ Mo there were two rich men, with good standing in the society who were pursuing me. Walikuwa wameomoka! On the other hand, DJ Mo was just starting up,” Size 8 said in an interview.
Size 8 chose to marry DJ Mo because his character was appealing to her even though he was broke at the time.
“I am grateful I held onto the promise of God. Look at us now. We are building a very huge mansion. Most ladies want to get married to the richest man, they will go with wealth, but in marriage, you will find that how a man looks is only 30 per cent, the rest is all about his character,” Size 8 said.
DJ Mo and Size 8’s marriage has had its fair share of troubles, including an incident in 2016 when she kicked her hubby out of their house after a disagreement.
Then in 2018, Size 8 walked out of the marriage and rented her own house.
In 2020, DJ Mo was exposed for having an extra-marital affairs with a manicurist working in Bahrain identified as Margaret Wanyama.
Wanyama through blogger Edgar Obare said she had been dating the DJ since 2016 and that at some point was pregnant for him. She allegedly terminated the pregnancy.
In spite of DJ Mo’s cheating, Size 8 stuck by him.
“Find someone who loves and fears God, someone who loves you, and one with whom you have some levels of compatibility,” Size 8 said.
