Wambui Collymore shared an emotional birthday message to her late husband, Bob Collymore.
Regrettably, Mr. Bob Collymore passed away on July 1, 2019, at his residence.
In order to seek treatment for acute myeloid leukemia, he’d traveled to the UK in October 2017.
Collymore, a British businessman of Guyanese descent who was born in 1958, served as CEO of Safaricom until his death
Collymore, a family man and a gentleman, kept his personal affairs quiet even in addition to serving as the face of Kenya’s biggest telecoms business.
He was proud when he talked about his family. He had three marriages by the time he was 61, and each time, he claimed in an interview, “it went on getting better.”
“I never set out to remarry, I think I just met someone who, someone I think I can spend the rest of my life with because we care for each other,” he shared lightly.
His widow paid tribute to the gentleman she had known for over five years with a heartfelt post on social media in his remembrance.
“Happy birthday @bobcollymore – to memories. The place where your presence now lives. 
” Wambui Collymore tweeted.
Collymore had four children.
