Natalie Tewa had blogger Edgar Obare arrested after he leaked details of her alleged romantic affair with Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho.
Obare sparked excitement in July 2020 after revealing that Natalie Wanjiri Githinji alias Natalie Tewa had accompanied Joho and Suna East MP Junet Mohamed on their trip to Dubai.
Joho and Junet travelled to Dubai aboard a private jet to check on former PM Raila Odinga who was in the hospital after undergoing an operation.
Obare was arrested and charged with unlawfully publishing Natalie Tewa’s private and personal details from her passport.
The controversial blogger was charged at the Kiambu Law Courts where he pleaded not guilty and was released on Ksh100,000 bail with an option of Ksh300,000 bond.
Speaking during an interview with Word Is, Tewa said she has never dated any person social media including Joho whom she was linked her to.
“People have always lied that I am dating this and this person but to say the truth, I have not dated any of those people you have linked me to,” she said.
Natalie Tewa noted that with all the allegations nobody has ever presented strong evidence of Joho and her getting cozy or displaying affection.
“Even by having a business meeting with someone, it turns out that Natalie is on a date. Guys need to relax coz there is only one person. It’s so crazy, you know. Coz if you are sitting with a guy and probably is a cousin, a friend or even you are in a business meeting, why should you judge them? Yet you have no evidence of them maybe getting physical or something like signs showing affection, why should you say they are dating? If people want to think what they want, there is no problem. I will never go online to try and defend them,” Natalie Tewa said.
She added that;
“I am always in a relationship. For now, I have been single for one and a half years. I am somewhere there and looking to get married. There is someone very new and we are just taking things slowly.”
