Vera Sidika is crying foul after Safaricom blocked her number before the impending deactivation date.
Vera took to social media to complain that Safaricom block his number in the dead of the night.
“Safaricom though they blocked my sim card last night at 2am. Y’all can keep it if it tickles your fancy,” Vera Sidika wrote.
Safaricom’s move to block Vera’s sim comes just days after the Communications Authority (CA) on Saturday, October 15, issued a warning about the impending deactivation of unregistered sim cards.
Through a statement released, CA stated that the deadline remained as earlier communicated.
“Here’s a friendly reminder. Why wait until your line is deactivated on Saturday at midnight, October 15?
“You have until 11 pm today to ensure your SIM card registration details are updated. Protect yourself and others by updating your details today,” read the statement from the Communications Authority.
