Edday Nderitu caused a stir with her TikTok post with some claiming she was seeking sympathy.
The mother of three took to her Tiktok and posted a video of her singing a gospel song.
The song was saying that the way Jesus left is the same way he will come back. It underscored that Jesus went to heaven to build a home for Christian’s and when done he will come again.
Some critics commented on the video saying that Edday was singing the song to seek sympathy from Kenyans something which attracted her attention.
The US-based mother of three angrily fired at a critic, asking if she needed sympathy because she was sleeping hungry.
“Sympathy songs. Team Karen forever mimi,” a critic commented on Edday’s TikTok post.
“Sympathy juu umeskia nalala njaa?” Edday fired back in a quick rejoinder.
Edday Nderitu and her three children moved to the US in May 2023 and it’s now clear she won’t go back to Kenya soon.
The mother of three was hosted by Bernice Saroni at her house in Boston, Massachusetts when she first arrived in the US.
In August, Edday announced she had enrolled her children in school in the US.
In early September, Edday announced that she had landed a new job and was moving into her own house.
