Rapper Trio Mio has finally opened up on why he did not publicize his KCSE results.
Speaking to Nicholas Kioko after landing in the country from a concert in Dubai, Trio Mio asked if those concerned about the results want to pay his college fees.
The teenage rapper added that he is popular because of his music and not because of how he performed in class.
“I didn’t refuse to publicize my results. Focus on your life. Do you want to pay my university fees, stop that. You didn’t know me because of my class performance you knew me because of music and I am good at what I do. It is my life. Sipangwingwi,” he said.
Trio Mio was trolled on social media after Education CS Ezekiel Machogu released the KSCE 2022 results in January this year.
There were a lot of speculations about the grade he had gotten forcing his mother, Irma Sofia, to break her silence about the matter.
“I won’t breathe because KCSE results have been announced? The boy did his best and am very proud of him. And those speculating a D. I am sorry!” she said in a statement on Twitter.
In a separate statement, she promised that they would publicize his grade.
