Letoya Johnstone is urging fellow transgender to steer clear of Club Milan In Westlands after going through horrid experiences at the joint.
Johnstone lamented that Club Milan had ‘blacklisted’ him, claiming that the entertainment hotspot was not tolerating transgender people there.
“Transgender persons, please don’t go to club Milan. They made it so clear that they don’t admit transgender community persons there. Thank God there were witnesses. Club Milan is not for transgender community. This is the second time. Go there at your own risk,” Johnstone wrote.
Letoya Johnstone first accused Club Milan of discriminating him for being a transgender in May 2021.
He narrated how he got into the night club and moments later, a female security steward came to where he was sitting and escorted out, asking her to sit outside.
“When I came, I was allowed to come in. I even went to the washrooms and finished fixing myself. Wen’t back to my seat and placed my order. Drinks on the table. All over a sudden a bouncer comes to our table, asks for me to follow her, which I did with all humility and utmost respect.
“Out of the thin air, I get asked if the one in my passport is myself. This is laughable because I thought they might have confused me with some thief or something horrible happened and it was just confusion. The bouncers asked me several times if the one on my passport was me. Nonetheless, I wish I had an explanation as to why I was thrown out of the club. I do believe that being a #transgender has something to do with this,” Johnstone wrote.
