Popular YouTuber Robert Ndegwa alias Thee Pluto says that he is planning to quit social media completely.
Thee Pluto said that he will quit social media and delete all his handles probably by the end of this year or next year.
“I have started feeling like social media is not my thing. Slowly, by the end of this year or next year, God-willingly, I will quit social media, delete my handles and live a private life. Actually the last video will be me deleting my handles. Sometimes you get tired and need a piece of mind but when having those handles, I know I will go back there,” he said in a YouTube video with his girfriend Felicity.
The father of two added that he has seen lots of things that are also influencing the decision including people doubting that he is making a fortune through content creation.
“You can see that I do YouTube. But people have the notion that YouTube does not pay. One day, I promise you, I will show you my earnings,” he said .
He however said that he can’t show people what he earns now because they will think that he uses them to get money.
“It wouldn’t take me so long before I exit out of social media because of the things I have seen. But before I exit, I want to tell you who wants to begin the social media journey that you don’t need a lot. You just need and a microphone and start shooting,” Thee Pluto said.
