Akothee misses the times when she used to walk in the streets of Nairobi freely without the public noticing who she was.
The mother of five reminisced about enjoying her freedom before she became a top celebrity in the country.
On Thursday, June 16, she shared a throwback photo of her daughter Vesha and her walking freely in the streets of the capital without being recognized by anyone.
“When I could still walk freely in the CBD . Now I don’t even drive here ?? Been 5 years of missing my freedom. This is me and my First born Daughter @veshashaillan going to the bank to pay school fee after having a heavy breakfast at sternly Hotel Nairobi,” she wrote.

Akothee had in a different post said that she never wanted to be rich, explaining that she just wanted to be comfortable in life only for her to realize that she had to do more to get the kind of life that she wanted.
