Content creator Terence Creative has revealed that he only paid Kshs23,000 as dowry for his wife Milly Chebby.
The funny man said that he managed to raise the amount with the help of his friends after being robbed the night before travelling to his in-laws residence in Uasin Gishu County, to pay dowry.
He however said that he does not understand how he was give a wife with the little amount of money but was grateful for that.
“Hatimaye tulijipata Rift in company of my friends YY and Captain Otoyo. Hapa na hizi suti sikuwa na pesa yoyote ila 23k ambayo tulichanga tulipe nayo mahari. I was robbed the previous night before travelling for my Ruracio. The fact that nilipewa msichana ndio maajabu bado sijawahielewa,” he narrated.
Terence added that he was deeply stressed during the occasion because of shame he had brought his family and in-laws but no one could not tell because he was in the mood for the occasion.
He made the revelation while sharing throwback photos that narrated their journey to success. He also revealed that he proposed to Milly publicly through the help of some police officers and taxi people who were friends with him.
“This is where I proposed. I locked Kimathi Street. My police friends and Taxi guys from nation center helped me that is why I respect them until today. The ring was less than 5k my friend but the love was over a meter,” he said.
He went ahead to share a sweet valentine’s message for Milly.
“In you I found love, comfort, guidance a home maker, best colleague, consultant and partner, more of it I ofund a partner and soul mate. I love you more. Happy Valentines Milly Chebby,” Terence said.
