Tanzanians Angered As Sean Paul Claims He Doesn’t Know Diamond Although They Follow Each Other On IG

Sean Paul landed in Africa for his much anticipated events in Tanzania this Saturday and the Kenyan one that is scheduled for December 1 at KICC.

During an interview with Tanzanian media outlets, the Jamaican dancehall star was questioned whether he knows Diamond, who is one of the biggest starts in Tanzanian and African music industry, and he said “No.”

A cross check on his Instagram account account indicates that he follows Diamond and Diamond has followed him back. He has also followed Ben Paul.

He also said he isn’t aware of the Tanzanian music genre Bongo Flava, despite collaborating with Tanzanian artists even for the event. Sean Paul was however able to mention a few Swahili words that he has learnt.

The move has angered Tanzanians who have criticized him, some claiming that he was only pretending and just seeking attention. Others defended him saying that they also don’t know all the people they follow on social media.

This is however the second time that Sean Paul is gracing the two African countries in 20years. He promised a great show for his fans who will show up.

Sean Paul further said that he can’t wait to experience the food and music in Tanzanian, adding that he will was looking forward to working with Tanzanian artists.
