Tanasha Donna and Diamond Platnumz were blessed with their first child together on October 2, 2019.
Diamond’s son was born when he was celebrating his birthday thus named the baby after himself – Naseeb Junior (Diamond’s real name is Naseeb).
Tanasha and Diamond broke up in 2020 after dating for less than a year. The heartbroken singer returned to Kenya shortly after Valentine’s day 2020 announcing on social media that she had called it quits with Diamond.
The Kenyan songbird, who has been raising her son as a single parent, recently revealed that her mother Diana Oketch is yet to meet her baby in person.
The singer who went on a week-long birthday vacation in Dubai told her fans in a late-night Instagram Live session that she has been quite busy to take her son to meet his grandmother.
“I miss my baby so much, you know, when I travel for work, he is at school and he has so much work at school, he loves school,” she said. When I’m away from him, it has been five days now, I feel so empty, I feel like something is missing. So I cannot wait to go back to him,” Tanasha said.
She added that;
“Can you imagine, my mother has never met my son? I don’t want to start tearing up on this live right now. But my mother has never met my son. And she is going to meet him for the first time in three weeks and I’m so excited, it is going to be such an emotional moment for me and I cannot wait.”
