Should President Ruto Be Worried About 2027 Elections?

A Nigerian prophet, who once predicted President William Ruto’s win in 2022 general elections, has surfaced yet again with another prediction of the 2027 general elections.

In his current statement, Elijah Ayodele, leader of Nigerian INRI Evangelical  Spiritual church, says that Ruto has only 15% chance of winning the elections.

Ayodele stated that one of the reasons that will lead to Ruto’s downfall was his move to impeach former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua.

“I pity Ruto; his time is almost up. If he doesn’t make the adjustment, he has only a 15 per cent chance of winning the election. He may take it seriously or not, but the removal of the former deputy president began his downfall,” the preacher said.

Secondly, Ayodele noted that Ruto will only be in office for one term because he he is involved with so many battles that will see him face rejection.

“He is engaged in too many unnecessary battles, and this will lead to his rejection if he doesn’t know what to do,” he stated.

”The youths will reject him and seriously disagree with him. Ruto hasn’t seen anything yet; if he isn’t careful, they will disgrace him out of office.”

The preacher further said that Ruto will only win elections if he is with Gachagua.

“The former deputy president also needs to pray for himself not to be troubled physically and spiritually. Ruto must not sleep if he thinks he wants to win the next election; If not with Gachagua, he will face political rejections, disadvantages, and troubles. What I am seeing ahead of him will shock him if he doesn’t wake up,” he said.

The remarks comes at a time when Gachagua has declared that Ruto will be a one term president. The former second in command has already unveiled his political outfit, Democracy for Citizens Party.

In a recent interview, that has sparked outrage among Kenyans, Gachagua warned Ruto against rigging elections, saying the aftermath will be worse than that of 2007 elections.

“With the mood in the country, if that IEBC tries to mess with the elections, there will be no country here, I want to tell you that 2007 will look like a Christmas party,” the former DP claimed.

“I want to tell those commissioners to be Kenyans and to be patriotic, and not to attempt to force William Ruto on the people of Kenya. It will not work. The people of Kenya will not accept it, people want change, and they are ready for change,” he further said.
