“Malaya katika ubora wake,” says Mpenzi Chokuu after sharing the steamy video, kissing a man in the streets.
Born Sammy Owiya Otieno, Mpenzi Chokuu is a well-known social media personality who rose to prominence due to his outspoken acceptance of being gay and a proud LGBTQ community member.
The Kenyan gay man declared himself the hottest gay man man on the planet. He relocated from Kenya and now lives in Cologne, Germany.
Chokuu is also a fashion model and socialite who enjoys flaunting his curvaceous body and his opulent lifestyle abroad on social media.
Chokuu revealed in 2018 that he was abused when he was little. He is currently estranged from his extended family, who has disowned him.
“At a time like today, I was raped, insulted and thrown out of my uncle’s house. They laughed at me, the people who I thought were supposed to protect me!”
In previous interviews, he revealed that coming back to Kenya was not a thing he would love to anymore after being mistreated and stigmatized for being queer after the loss of his parents and siblings.
“That would never happen! I lost my parents when I was five years old and later lost my siblings.
My life in Kenya was hell on earth especially after losing my parents, am happy to be in Germany.”
The man in the video is one of his many other lovers.
“I have several partners and he is one of them,” Chokuu told bloggers.
