Former musician Vanessa Mdee came under fire when she admitted that she doesn’t know who Nikita Kering is.

Earlier, Vanessa put a question tag, asking fan to share some suggestion on some of the fun things for kids during December in Atlanta.

One of those who responded said that she should go to Nikita Kering’s show.

In her response, Vanessa said that she had to find out who Nikita was through Google.

“Googles “Who is Nikita Kering'” she shared the response.

Kenyans were however angry at her, forcing her to come out and clarify her statement.

“I’m so out of the loop LoL. I listen mostly to worship and gospel,” the Tanzanian superstar defended herself.

The mother of two further noted that Nikita is amazing.

Meanwhile, Nikita Kering and her fellow musician Lil Maina have caused a buzz online following their recent Live video on Instagram.

In terms of having a crush on you, yeah, ilikuwa,” Lil Maina said on the other hand.

The two have been close to each other with netizens suspecting their relationship is more than just a friendship.
