Sanaipei Tande faced criticism on social media after some Kenyans accused her of sharing ‘semi-n8de’ pictures. On Tuesday, May 2, she posted three photos on her social media accounts, in which she was seen wearing a short-patterned dress that exposed her thighs which sparked heated discussions on Twitter.
Many said she must remember her age which others supported her to do whatever she wishes with herself.
Singer Suzanna Owiyo expressed her support for Tande, stating that there was no issue with her dressing, and that women should be allowed to express themselves regardless of their age.
In a tweet, she said, “Let Sanaipei Tande be. I don’t see any problem with her dressing, and to all the women out there, no matter your age, be true to yourself, be confident in yourself. Don’t let anyone convince you that you are past your prime.”
After the uproar, Sanaipei Tande came back and said, “Kumbe it’s not rocket science!” Mean the conversations online were working for her as brand and musician. She went on further and advertised a gig she was performing.
