Miracle Baby, whose real name is Peter Mwangi, spent his money wisely when defunct Gengetone group Sailors was still getting high paying gigs.
At the height of his music success, Miracle Baby spent his money to uplift his parents financially instead of having an ostentatiously wealthy lifestyle like most celebs.
From early 2017 to 2019, Miracle baby put aside enough money that enabled him to build his aged parents a storeyed house.
“I have built for my parents and they are currently not paying rent. I bought land in Membley, with the money I got from music. They are my second God. This was my main project in 2021. I will be officially opening it in a few months,” said Miracle Baby during an interview with Mpasho.
Sailors dominated the airwaves with hit songs like ‘Wamlambez’ and made a lot of money performing in gigs all over.
However, all that ended in 2020 when the group clashed with their former manager Mwalimu Rachel.
Mwalimu Rachel severed all ties with Sailors and issued a statement indicating that she would no longer book the quintet for any gigs.
Sailors took a break from music following their fallout with Mwalimu Rachel and have been struggling to make a comeback.
Miracle Baby was quick to adapt following the downfall of Sailors, he transitioned from being a rapper to be a Kikuyu vernacular singer.
