Sabato, known for his candid opinions on the Kenyan entertainment scene, contends that Crazy Kennar is not a stand-up comedian but rather a skilled skit actor. He argues that the only comedians worthy of headlining a stand-up show in Kennar’s stead are the likes of Comedian YY and Butita. According to Sabato, Kennar’s comedic prowess took a hit after parting ways with his original comedy crew, which included talents like Bushra and Afrikana. The synergy within the group, Sabato claims, made Kennar appear funnier than he might be as a solo act.
The outspoken commentator emphasized that Kennar’s previous comedic team played a crucial role in enhancing his humor, and without them, his solo performances may not reach the comedic heights he once achieved.
