Rapper Rosa Ree is a mother and many people didn’t know about it, until she shared her pregnancy journey.
Following her collaboration with Kenyan artist Timmy Tdat on their explicit song “Vitamin U,” Rosa Ree found herself facing consequences as she was banned from performing or releasing any new music for a period of six months by Tanzanian authorities.
The release of the controversial track led to Ree’s involvement in a troublesome situation, prompting the authorities to impose restrictions on her artistic endeavors.
The explicit content of “Vitamin U” raised concerns on the level of influence artists have to masses calling for the blanket ban.
Unknown to many, Rosa Ree recently shocked many after posting videos of her baby and what her pregnancy journey was like, the body and face changes and all that.
The beautiful artist, says carrying her child changed her completely and true to it, she looks absolutely like a whole new person.
Unlike many women who post everything on social media today concerning their private lives, Rosa Ree managed to keep it private.
Via her Instagram page she says, “Wanadamu tumepewa uwezo mkubwa na Mungu, lakini hakuna nguvu tuliyopewa inayozidi ile ya kuwa MAMA! Motherhood is the biggest power given to us humans by GOD! I am proud to announce on this year’s Mother’s Day that I too, AM A MOTHER! Happy Mother’s Day!”
She further insists on the importance of respecting women.
“Kwa kweli mimba na pua inabidi zimalize tofauti zao😅 Tunapitia mengi sana mpaka kuitwa MAMA! Tujifunze kuheshimu wanawake, leba sio mchezo! WOMEN ARE THE STRONGEST BEINGS ON EARTH!”
Women also shared their journeys in support saying it’s the same and some asking why it happens.
“Pua,sura,macho mdomo mm safari hii had ulimi umepanuka najing’ata kila saa!”
