“Kichwa kubwa lakini akili iko kwa kinyambio” Sonko told Alai and taught him a lesson he will never forget.
The former Nairobi governor launched a barrage of insults at Robert Alai after he castigated him for showing off at least Ksh32 million in cash.
“The fact that you can operate a camera and display a ward of cash doesn’t make you rich. You can be having some wads of cash while upstairs, wewe ni maskini wa ki akili.
“Jamani, tafuteni knowledge and wisdom. Gig piny bura oloyo. Never seek validation from netizens,” Alai tweeted.

Sonko was irritated by Alai’s tweet and he decided to hit back harder.
“I wish mamayako angekuzaa hii wakati. Ndio ungenipa some respect,” Sonko tweeted as he shared video documenting his philanthropy.

Sonko further questioned how Robert Alai had helped the society being Kileleshwa MCA.

Sonko further told Alai that he will fully cater for his burial if he dies ahead of him.
“Na bado ujue I can still go out of my way for anyone including yourself since you were once my buddy Godforbid akikuchukua mbele yangu, I will ensure you are buried like a king. Together with your funeral committee, we shall preserve your body in the morgue for additional 3weeks as I construct a modern house for you in your shags where you will be laid to rest,” Sonko tweeted.
