Rev Lucy Natasha has recognized the contributions made by Raila Odinga after he failed to clinch the presidency in his presumably last bid.
Raila has rejected the results released by IEBC chairperson declaring William Ruto the winner of the August 9 General Election.
The ODM leader has indicated that he shall proceed to the Supreme Court to overturn the declaration by Chebukati, citing several irregularities.
Rev Natasha came out to celebrate Raila as he prepares to challenge the presidential results released by Chebukati.
The preacher said Raila has been the champion of democracy in Kenya and that his efforts have made Kenya stronger.
“We celebrate the gallant efforts of Hon PM Raila Odinga and @mamaidaodinga in advancing democracy and lighting the torch of social and political freedom. Your service to the country that spans decades is much appreciated.
“You remain a true statesman, a quintessential man and a real patriot. We uphold you, your family and all your supporters in prayers. Kenya is a stronger country because of your nationalism. We speak peace, unity and harmony amongst all the people notwithstanding the different political affiliations. God Bless Kenya,” Rev Natasha wrote.
