Rev Lucy Natasha is spilling all the tea about her love life that the public initially didn’t know about.
Recently, in an eye-opening conversation with comedian Dr. Ofweneke, she opened up about her journey in ministry, her personal life, and the divine moments that shaped her into the woman she is today.
Would you believe she kicked off her preaching career at a mere nine years old? Natasha recounted a pivotal moment when she experienced what she describes as a divine intervention—a miraculous healing that cured her stammering.
“I started preaching when I was nine. I remember when God healed me from stammering; that was my first encounter with God,” she recalled with a spark in her eyes.
But it wasn’t all sermons and divine calls. Natasha nostalgically reminisced about her first crush from her school days— a charming Japanese boy she met during a conference.
The two lovebirds exchanged letters and sweet nothings while attending various events together, but alas, as she progressed into high school, the romance fizzled out due to distance and the absence of those frequent conferences.
“Tukiwa kwa conference kachali kamoja kamjapanese kakakuja. We spent five days in the conference but before he flew away he proposed… We continued writing letters and later met at other conferences, but as I progressed into high school, it faded away because of now the distance and these conferences were no longer happening,” she shared, a smile playing on her lips.
For a long time, this powerful minister stayed single, pouring her heart and soul into her ministry.
Natasha reflected on those years, making it clear that the focus was all about dedication and growth, both spiritually and personally.
But just when she thought she’d stay solo forever, love came knocking when she crossed paths with an Indian man!
Natasha spilled the beans on how she met her now-husband, Prophet Stanley Carmel, on Instagram.
“My husband slid into my DM [direct message],” she divulged, laughing at the memory.
Despite ignoring his messages for a staggering two years, his relentless charm and persistence won her over in the end.
“He is Indian and had not been to Kenya at that time. He used to hit on me with Godly rhymes. But you know, persistence outweighs resistance,” she said with a wink.
What makes her love story even sweeter? Natasha gushed about how her husband allows her to be her true self.
“He brings out the baby girl in me, he allows me to be. He taps into Tasha. He never called me Rev, Oracle, Pastor, or prophetess,” she confessed.
Fast forward to January 2022, and lovebirds Rev Lucy Natasha and Prophet Stanley Carmel tied the knot, marking a new chapter in their beautiful journey together.
