Pritty Vishy’s family is Maragoli – the Luhya subtribe that the like of Musalia Mudavadi hails from.
The Maragoli subtribe is predominately found within Vihiga county in Western, Kenya.
Pritty Vishy’s family relocated from Vihiga to Busia county which is home to Luhya and Teso tribes.
Busia County is home to four other Luhya subtribes – Samia, Bakhayo, Banyala and Marachi subtribes.
The content creator recently gave her fans a tour of her upcountry home after her family relocated from Vihiga to Busia.
Vishy showed off her homestead revealing that her family has been living in Busia county for the past three years.
“Let me show you around my oshago. Hapa tumekaa like for almost three years because kwetu ni Vihiga but we live in Busia right now. But oshago kwetu ni Vihiga because we are Maragoli,” Vishy said.
Pritty Vishy was born and raised in the informal settlement of Kibera in Nairobi county. She spent the better part of her life in the ghetto only moving out in 2022.
