Comedian David Oyando alias Mulamwah loves to give his fans the impression that he is living in abject poverty though he is a millionaire.
Whenever Mulamwah shows off, he always juxtapose poverty and wealth. He recently caused a stir when he was seen dressed like a pauper eating githeri has he counted wads of cash.
The comedian took to Instagram Stories to flaunt at least Ksh1 million in cash. He was counting his money while enjoying his githeri (a mixture of maize and beans).
There is no doubt Mulamwah is a millionaire. He opened up on how he made his millions during a November 2021 interview with Churchill.
The comedian narrated how he had invested heavily in the boda boda sector, revealing that he owns 15 boda boda motorbikes in Kitale, Tranz Nzoia county.
“There are so many in Trans Nzoia but they are keeping the youth busy and away from crime. Right now I have 15 but I have ordered two more. I used to hang out with some friends who are unemployed and I decided to give them boda bodas so we can both help each other. In Kitale bodaboda earn about Ksh300 per day,” Mulamwah said.
Mulamwah makes about Ksh135,000 per month from his 15 motorcycles. He said he uses the money to help his siblings pay for school, his grandmother, and other aspiring comedians.
The comedian also makes a lot of money from his main hustles – comedy, MC, events host, actor and brands ambassador.
He also earns millions as a social media influencer, his has over one million fans on Facebook and Instagram accounts where he is paid to promote brands.
