Vera Sidika is the only one in her family who has bleached her entire body, the rest of her kin have a dark skin complexion.
In 2014, Vera decided to spend a whopping Ksh50 million to bleach her entire body. The socialite caused a stir when she was first seen in public after her bleach job, her skin tone mirrored that of late king of pop Michael Jackson.
Speaking during an interview on NTV with Larry Madowo on 6th June 2014, Vera spoke openly about the skin lightening treatment she had just undergone.
The bootyful socialite said she bleached her entire body because looking good is what earned her money.
“Looking good is my business. My body is my business, nobody else’s but mine,” Vera Sidika said.
Vera had the skin lightening procedure done in the UK and suggested it cost somewhere in the region of Ksh15 million.
The bleached socialite told Madowo that she had already seen an increase in demand for her services after she underwent the skin lightening procedure.
Well, Vera has the lightest skin complexion in her family after bleaching herself. Her kin however are contented with their skin tone.
