Controversial pastor Victor Kanyari started building his kingly mansion in 2017 and officially opened it in 2019.
Kanyari rose to fame in 2014 after former KTN investigative journalist Mohammed Ali exposed him for fleecing unsuspecting Christian faithful.
The exposé dubbed ‘Mbegu ya 310’ showed the shenanigan ways Kanyari used to run his The Salvation Healing Ministry church.
Kanyari had assembled a team of racketeers who rehearsed false testimonies and staged “healings” in front of the congregation.
He also claimed of being able to cure everything from childlessness to HIV/AIDS. Congregants had to give out a ‘seed money’ of Ksh310 in order to receive their miracles.
Kanyari amassed his wealth from swindling his church members, and he used part of it to construct a multimillion shilling home for himself.
Perched somewhere along Kangundo Road, Kanyari’s mansion is a storeyed building that spots a bright-orange colour with a modest designer.
The Salvation Healing Ministry founder unveiled the behemoth through social media in May 2019, with a small caption reading, “Thanks friends for coming, nyumba Nimefugua (I opened the house).”
The compound features outdoor cement driveway tiles and car parking shade for the multiple vehicles he owns which include Range Rover Sport.
